ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Disappointing day.

So over the weekend I took a trip to the annual East Coast Honda Meet. Had a great time and all. But today I was speaking with a guy from work, he told me that one of his friends had been at the meet as well and he accidentally also happen to mention what his buddy thought about me car. Well long story short they wernt very nice things and honestly I agree. But it actually Hurt my feelings.

I honestly felt like crap because I've let my poor car go down hill for quite some time. And the poor thing has never let me down. I feel just awful, because I feel like the car is apart of me.

I know its just a car, but Has anyone ever felt the same way?

i feel you luna. i adore my cb. its done nothing but been good to me, despite all the abuse i've put her through.

i had a younger guy come up to me. and say he use to look up to my car. the fresh paint, stance, and the 4in tip hayame muffler were things that he'd never seen before on a accord. it was the reason he got into his honda. at that point i realized i had let the cb "fall down hill" also. and it has gotten worse as time goes on.

not sure why you didn't keep up with the upkeep. but i had lost my license. and it felt like i had let her down not being able to drive. so i let her set, and the weather have it's way with her. but she'll be back and better then new soon!

Mine is looking pretty shitty right now too. The body is showing the signs of 8 years of New England daily driving. It was a pristine rust free car, now I've got plenty of surface 1/4 rust and dings all over from parking lot a-holes.

Mechanical, however, is in tip-top shape. I am constantly maintaining the mechanicals as I rely on the car to get to work.

Never fear, a restoration is planning for this fall. New 1/4's, front fenders, ugly aftermarket roof rack delete, and fresh Opal Green paint.

I get that feeling too. Every other car in my parking garage is a beemer or lexus. Hell the "kid" that works for me has a Benz. At the end of the day I just laugh as I walk by and imagine him cutting a $700 check for his car payment; which he was bragging about. The lesson here, just be happy with what you have and pay no mind to what your buddy's buddy said about your ride. I know what i've got and that i've got a great little car that will, most likely, last a lot longer than that beemer, lex, or benz. It definitely won't cost as much when it breaks.

You know its funny when people rag on you behind your back after you find about the real them. Supposedly friends who are undercover haters the fuck who cares what they think along with their other cronies they have jump on the bandwaggon of hatred. They are just jealous becuase they dont have that light that shines within you. It takes a true leader to make things happen you started something out of nothing and made it happen.

They can only try to kick you down stay away from negative people like that they can only go but down in everything that they do. Just ignore them and keep moving up in life. I mean comon look at me I went from mustang to accord to two accords with the same color one allmotor to turbo h22 then h22 type s and accord f22 turbo to an srt. The hatred then poured in more then from a srt to an srt and evo9. Believe and you will obtain your goals fuck fitting in thats for suckers just do you.
