ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

suspension would be the smarter decision. that suspension is old and tired and needs attention. yeh doing a retrofit will make your car safer but i would question your suspension in the case of a emergency.

Lowering your car will most likely give you the most satisfying mod for now. Its something that you will love every time you walk out to your car, front, rear, side...the "look" will always make you happy...the headlight mod....what ever that is will not be near as noticeable to you after the newness of it wears off, most people will never notice it and its not something that will impact the entire look of the car like a drop will.

It's crazy how just a drop and wheels make an otherwise stock car look totally different.

What would you lower it on? Lowering is the more expensive option, and it's really not safe to halfass it. If you can't afford to lower your car safely, and you absolutely MUST modify your car ASAP, then I say do the retrofit.

The 3 things I love about my car are my H22, my suspension, and my retrofit. Oh, and my paintjob. That's all I really need... just those 4 things.

Trust me im going the safe route not halfass looking at koni str.t shocks and either h&r skunk2 neuspeed lowering springs (not looking for a big drop maybe 1.75 or 1.5) but i think retrofit would be a challenge for me looks very complicated but i want to do it dads s2k has a nice cut off and i want it....

The retrofit isn't too difficult. Two of my friends have done it, and they both did a good job.

I would stay away from Skunk2 suspension stuff, personally. That's more my own personal bias, though. I've had H&R forever, and I've always liked it. Neuspeed is pretty much the same thing.

i do a lot of night time driving and i would benefit more from a retrofit plus i have done one and the function of a proper retrofit over weights the form ten fold especially if they are bi xenon
