ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Any one got a close up pic of the bar on? I have not installed it yet but can't find a pic for it on our cars any where. I just want to see how you guys organize those vacuum lines, throttle cable on the driver's side and on the passenger side the fuse box is in the way sorta and the electrical wiring.

    Thanks.

for $50 it was a good buy know that it is the same quality as neuspeed without the 3x the price

oh i forgot: it not that chrome. Like flat silver/hint of shine

oh the weight is the same as neuspeed: 4-5 lb

      Hey,
Is that an aftermarket exhaust header? Mine is OEM and it's all rusty looking. Just wondering how yours look so silver looking?
      Thanks.

It's not just the mind set, it does make a difference. It makes more of a difference if you have a rear strut bar also.

Is that how it's suppose to go on? I thought I saw it on the other way around with the straight edge toward the firewall? Did you have to jack up the car? One side at a time or what? Or both side at once?
          Thanks.

You may have seen a 94-97 CD engine bay, I think the neuspeed bar is the opposite as ours. I've always had good success w/ jacking up the front, removing all 4 nuts, get passenger side "legs" of bar onto studs first, then driver side, then put the nuts back on.

Do you jack the entire front up or just the one side to get it fit on the bar? So you thread the bolts on loosely one side then the other side?
              Thanks.

This thing is a b*tch to get on. I can see whey it took you 1.5 hours. I was too lazy to go out to my storage place to get the jack stands so I didn't jack the front end up. Still can't get it on.
Looks like I got to take that trip afterall.

Don't feel bad bud. It took me 4 hours and I still can't get it on. If I put the passenger's side on then I go to the driver's side then the other side keep coming off. If I put the nuts on then it's off by half an inch to get all the nuts in. I wonder if mine is defective or it's just that hard to get on. I pull the heck out of the bar and still can't get it on. I guess I'll have to wait until next week for my big buddy to come visit and get this dam thing on.
Are you suppose to pull and tug it real hard to get all the legs on?
I jacked up the entire front on stands and still won't do it.

It's going to be a tight fit. Tighter on some cars than others. It depends on the condition of your chassis.

Just keep at it. It will bolt on. When I first put mine on, I had to lower my strut just a little to get it on.

I've always jacked the entire front end up off the ground. I also just remembered another thing that I usually do: lets say you start on the pass. side, if you can get both legs onto the studs thread on the nuts (just start them, leave them loose for now) so when you're @ the driver side, you won't lose your progress. My neuspeed bar wasn't that bad overall, you will sorta build a method to getting it on.

I got it down to 1/4" inch to match the holes on the driver's side. It's definitely a tight fit. Dude, whether I jack the car up or not, it does not do any thing for the tower to get closer. I think jacking the car up is only for when the bar is a little longer than the strut tower apart.
                        Thanks.

So yours is short instead of long. Maybe a rope or strap tied at the weld, drop through the back of bay to the wheel well and yank on it while someone else lines up the holes.

Would all of this tugging and pulling to make it fit, put my car out of alignment?
                              Thanks.

I tried to hammer the bar to spread it out a little bit so now it's 1/4" short instead of half inch short. This bar is tough. I used a rubber mallet.
