ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    buying parts from amazon!

ok i have a cart on amazon with these things and wondering if they are a good setup!

    megan cat back
    megan front strut bar
    megan springs
    m2 performance 4-2-1 header
    hps short ram intake
    15x7 40mm offset silver rota grt3

cat back - not great, not terrible.
strut bar - decent. not as good as neuspeed or esp, but better than a no-name. i have one myself.
springs - not great. I REALLY hope you plan on getting properly matched shocks to go with those... lowering your car on stock shocks is one of the dumbest (and most dangerous) things you could possibly do.
header - worthless. a good replacement if your stock manifold is bad, but the gains will be minimal, and the fitment may not be very good. the only header really worth buying for the F22A is the bisimoto header.
intake - fine, but replace the filter with K&N or AEM. it will perform better, and be less likely to allow engine-damaging dirt in. cheap filters don't filter very well.
wheels - decent size, good offset. rota is a knockoff brand, but as long as you don't plan on beating the crap out of them, they should be fine.

I've bought plenty of things off Amazon without any issues, but they were mainly smaller electronic items and accessories. Have you checked eBay for prices on the same or similar items?

You'll also need shocks if you don't have them already.

Amazon does things very much like ebay these days... auctions, private sellers, etc... There are good deals to be had, but you can't be stupid and/or naive when buying. You could get screwed. I don't know how Amazon's protection compares to ebay's.

Got some awesome deals on Amazon recently on Accord parts.

Exedy OEM clutch direct from Exedy - $110 + free shipping! Thats $40 off the list price.

          Gates T/B for JDM F22B - $20 + free shipping (50% off list!)

Denso O2 Sensor - $39 and you guessed it, free shipping.

You just can't beat the free shipping deal, plus the free shipping is usually only offered on items from reputable sellers it seems

Are you talking about buying from amazon directly, or from another seller selling on the amazon site?

Lately I've found myself using Amazon more and more. I try to always buy from Amazon directly so that I can get the free super saver shipping.

If you spend enough time looking, you can usually find it being sold by Amazon directly. I bought all the Redline Fluids for my truck for almost exactly what the lowest price I found scouring the web, but the free shipping really makes the deal.

I'd highly recommend getting an Amazon Prime membership! Free 2-day shipping on most things sold directly from amazon... Plus, free instant watch on movies!! (think instant watch on Netflix, but with amazon movies)

with the amount of shopping i've done on amazon the membership has MORE than paid for itself!

                          Check it out.

                          sorry for the ness.
