now a member. what to do?

hmmm so i reached 30 post today and read through a few of the rules and only picked up on a few things saying what you can do now that your a member.

well anyway i just wanted to know what did you do first when you became a member and why?

also how do i make a sig?

for the sig, go to "control" at the top, then click on "edit signature" then write something witty, funny, stupid, or philosophical and/or post a picture of your car, your cat, something that makes you laugh, etc.

as for what i did when i was a newb, i am so old on here that there wasnt even a beginner's section

now that you're a full member, go to the member's ride section, follow the stickies, and make a members ride for your accord.

now would also be a good time to donate and become a contributing member! bandwidth isn't cheap, and the more people we have, the more we use.

What to do now that you have 30 posts? Make an MRT, join in on "Off Topic" discussions, and please, please, please, for Pete's sake, post your threads in the appropriate sections... not ONLY in the Beg. Forum like a lot of people are doing now for some reason.

It's been fun watching the site evolve over the years. Many new faces from many different places.

There's an invaluable amount of information contained in the pages of this community.
There's a ton of passion as well, and a completely commited bunch of individuals that make this place work.
Clearlly, IMHO, a well spent "donation" ..

Read up on *all* of the stickies at the top of each category ..
Go to an image (picture) hosting site like Photobucket or ImageShack to host your photos.
There's tons of hosting sites .. then use that hosting site to supply the images you upload here.
There's also a "stickie" on posting images .. and now that you're a *member* ..
I'll leave it to your veteren self to locate and read it ..

Hint: advanced search is the bomb .. welcome aboard mate!

This last part...I've been wondering it too. Maybe because the oldies don't wanna get flamed for their stupid ideas and hope posting in the beginners section will prevent it? Lol.
