ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

good thing i looked in this off topic, i was just gonna post a new thread.
yea this thing is legendary, glad to hear he made it out okay. This car is a pure example of the love/hate. i read on a bunch of sites peoples opinions on this car and its great that he just kept at it and always ignored peoples comments, because at the end of the day it was his car, his money, his hard work put into it. not the people talking. At times i feel i have a fully rusted out BMW, since i am always defending and stating my case as to why i am working on a 20+ yr old car and why i sell one and continue to buy and look for the same 4th gen accord? in the end a handful of people will really understand our love for our cars. and everyone else can just assume what they want, we are gonna do what we want , drive what we wanna drive, and customize the car the way we envision it in our heads.
Sad day for what i think was a very iconic car and i know at least for myself, seeing his build and what he had been thru gives me inspiration to continue my project and keep moving forward in a world we try to be innovative and different. RIP , would be EPIC if he dusted off the ashes and brought it back to life!

Holy shit, that really sucks. He had 24k plated wheels on that sucker. Not sure if they were on at the time of the accident. Hopefully Mike can recover this is terrible.

Were they doing a photo shoot while they were working on the car? I can see a softbox used for photography sitting on a light stand just in front of the burning garage. Perhaps one of the hot lights ignited something. A soft box that size isn't cheap and it wouldn't just be set up for no reason. Using that as a work light is a huge waste of the bulb also so I can only assume they were doing some sort of photo shoot before the garage went up.
