Also I think some of you miss understood what I was asking, I knew what the hand gesture meant, I was meaning did it have something specific to do with the car scene since I ALWAYS see this on Hondas.

I agree about the badges. Their original function in Japan is to alert other drivers of an inexperienced driver (or for the other one, an elderly driver.) Basically, those badges say "watch out, I'm a shitty driver!"
So for the most part... most of the cars that I see with them SHOULD have them.

Doesn't really bother me, but decals aren't my thing. Only decal sticker I have is from Collective when they did the H22 swap for my car and I was kind of reluctant about having it on my car, but they did a good job so I left it.

Honestly stickers in general are sorta stupid. What better way to say "I may have some serious money invested in my car, come smash and take what you like!" If you have good parts, say bye bye; if not, enjoy replacing your window. And the pointless stickers that say shit like "JDM to the bone!" and "I race for pinks!" just make you look like a moron. This JDM hand or shocker sticker is just another way of saying your car is modified. Its an attention grab to a more select audience who recognize this sort of stuff. Also it will get you people asking what the sticker means or just laughing at you in general.
It's to each his own but most stickers are either gonna get you hated on, stolen from or made more suspect when a cop pulls you over for some minor traffic offense.
If you want to sticker your car, represent where you're from and what you are.
Personally the only three stickers I will ever put on my car are the registration stickers, an eagle scout sticker (gets me out of trouble a lot of times) and no doubt a cb7tuner sticker.
Keep it real guys, this is just my honest opinion on the matter.

Is it just me or are the Soshinoya Badges OVER USED? I see these damn things ALL OVER. You would think that people wouldn't want to promote they are a NOVICE lol I swear every honda tuner in town has a HUGE arrow emblem smacked on the side of their car!



Also whats up with the JDM hand? Why do people stick this ALL over their cars, shirts, wallets, tattoos, etc. etc? I always thought that meant "two in the pink, one in the stink" or so I have heard lol

No offense to anyone but I find that most of these people who stick that shit all over their cars are all followers. Real leaders dont stick all that unneccesary shit all over their cars.

They just feel the need to belong,others dont know what it even means but theyll put it on their cars. I know I actually went up to them and asked them hey whats the sticker for they go I dont know but it looks cool.

So I go hey okay later and just leave. the same shit for the towhook in the back and in the front with the little doll or balls hangin at the back of the bumpers. If thats their thing let em rock. All I know is this why put the hook there if its not needed at that time. That just makes someone want to steal your car by towing it away just because its there.

Keep waiting and eventually things like "JDM" tyres will be the next new thing.
Or maybe "JDM" Petrol will take off.
