Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Anyone bought the complete changeover H22a from this website? Also what else did you have to buy to complete this swap that didnt come with the package?

    I havent bought one, but they sure come nicely wrapped up.

      Bought one in 2003. It is the ONLY place I would buy a swap from.
      I needed nothing more to complete the swap (though I had a shop do it... they were idiots.)

      You will need to follow their directions to the letter to maintain their startup warranty. You will need to change the timing belt, water pump, and any major seals (it IS an old motor, afterall.)

        From all the reviews I've read here I would but them at a 9.5 out of 10 if not perfect. They take care of their customers and their motors are healthy.

          never had a problem with HMO when steve was there. dunno if hes still there or not.

            I'm pretty sure someone recently called and talked to him. He owns it, I believe. No steve, no HMO.

                Sparks here I brought a motor from him one time and his motor was outstanding. The motor came with everything including prelude axles which i didnt need. The only thing he did that was kinda fucked up was the ecu that he sent me was an automatic that was reprogrammed into a 5speed. I had hell with that and the people who swapped it for me the first time.

                After that I was happier than a pig in shit. His service is repable and his customer service is on-point never had a problem with that. You see in business people fail because of lack of good craftsmanship and communication,which is key to success in business. If the customer asks for this see to it that it is done because if not money will go elsewhere into the next mans hands.

                    It had different numbers on the vin on the computer it has a sticker on top of the ecu like this its upside down so you have to read it that way just bare with me

                    at the lower right corner you see where it says J-AT that means automatic transmission. If it has J-MT then you have a manual transmission.
