ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

When the previous owner took it out, did they do it properly, or just take out the pump or not get the proper line? If you're going to do it, you may as well do it properly. I've read that converting your power rack to manual and doing away with power steering, the steering can be just as easy as having power steering.

If the rack dries out, it will need to be replaced. That's the only downside to removing the power steering. Look in the DIY section to see how to rectify that situation. There are a couple methods.
As said, it will be stiffer at low speeds, but not terrible. I still have my pump in place, but cut the belt (the belt was too small, and killing the pump... and I just never replaced it.) The day I cut it, I was parallel parking in front of Pat's Steaks on a Saturday night, between a BMW and a Benz. It's supposedly even harder with the pump still in place, since I'm fighting against it.
Anyway, the only thing you should keep in mind is that with no power steering, an unexpected bump can jerk the wheel out of your hand if you're not ready for it. Expect it to happen, and react accordingly. If you panic, you could overcorrect and lose control. Not a big deal... just be ready for it.

^ maybe or maybe not. id suggest you search for a thread that might list what can be used between f22 and h22. thats what i would do. but in all honesty driving without power steering isnt hard you just have to get used to it. it might be a pain driving stick and turning at the same time but just a thing that will go away once you practice. if i was in your shoes i would go to a open parking lot and get the feel for it first

The pulley has a different amuont of ribs, so you'd need to either swap pullies for one from an H22, or run the thinner belt (which can hop off track... not a huge deal, but best avoided.)
People HAVE used the F22 pump, but most use the H22 pump and fab up a simple conversion bracket for the line. That's how mine was done.
