Is AAA worth it?

Just as the tittle says is AAA worth it? Im thinking about getting it for my cb and woundering who else on here has it and im looking for pros and cons. Thanks

Well my wife has had it and since she drives a Honda weve never had to use it for roadside stuff but the discounts you get from being a member are deff worth it.

We get 22% off our Verizon bill because of it.

And a lot of hotels give discounts for it etc.

Which plain does she have? I looked online and found 3 plains i believe

I get the Plus (I need to renew, actually... it expired at the end of November)
100 mile tow, and other benefits. I've only used it twice in my life, and never while doing my job (which puts 300+ miles a day on my car) BUT it's great insurance to have. For only $100 a year or so, it's worth it. If you break down 50 miles from home, the tow is likely to cost more than a AAA membership!

I had the 3 mile AAA. But I got the 100 mile and I love it. Its def worth it! Get it asap!

Yeah, when you rely on such an old car, especially one that you modify... it's always good to have that extra security! These cars are great, but they ARE old... and I know firsthand that they're not all perfectly maintained!

yup thats the main reason I got it. funny thing is that H in the wagon has never let me down both in the CE1 & CB9, (knock on wood). but I have managed to lock the keys in the wagon once. neatless to say I didnt sleep that night till the AAA guy came to unlock it. that alone was worth getting the AAA coverage.

Yeah, my H22A has been nearly indestructible too... I even over-revved that sucker, and drove for 3000 miles with seafoam in it! Burns almost no oil (what I lose is probably leaking from the oil pan plug...) Even got me home from 2 hours away with no clutch.

Thats amazing that you drove so long with seafoam

I got a 91 Buick Roadmaster and had seafoam in it for 300 miles and started hearing a bearing knock around in the block. Threw some royal purple and it stopped for awhile and then sold it for my CB

I've had it for the last 5 years and used it twice. Once I locked my keys in my running car and the other time I put one wheel in the ditch in snow storm and couldn't get out and there was nobody around to pull me out.

It's just like insurance. You never want to use it, but it's good to have when you need it.

My freinds plan coverd other peoples cars so long as he was in them at the time of the problem. My integra broke an axle so he came over and claimed he was in my car and got it towed home for free. When i start making more money ill get it for sure.
