Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    alarm kit

    Cb addicts, i need your help once more... at least im not whoring to get up to 30 posts lol, i just saw that this guy posting to get 30 posts lol, desperate bastard...

    heres the story, my friend want to sell me a brand new alarm kit for 200 aussie dollars...

    its got knock sensor...
    glass breaking sensor...
    tilt sensor(if thats what its called, if someone want to steal your wheels lol)
    1 transceiver with a little screen
    im not sure if its worth it

    its brand is OMNITRONICS page alarm system... for 200 i would like to know if its worth it as im a bit low on cash too

    Not familiar with the brand, google says it's korean made and that their website may harm my computer.
    You can get a two way pager alarm for less than $100 USD on ebay. I bought one from Asian Wolf and have had it for over two years with no problems (except the screen on the remote doesn't like when you lean on it, but that's my fault, not the manufacturer's lol). They also have a nice collection of additonal features that aren't very expensive that can tie in with the alarm.

      I would pass on this deal. I suggest looking into DEI Electronics... Brands are CLIFFORD, PYTHON, and VIPER.


      They have great products, great recviews, and ALOT of members run their products in their vehicles. Thats the only brand I will run in my cars.

        DEI also makes alarms by other names that are the same alarm without the highly recognizable brand name sticker on them that sell for much less. It's amazing how much you pay for those little stickers. lol They do make a quality product, I've had a couple DEI alarms that were well worth it.

            decided, im going with the python 1091 or the 991... but i really like the remote from the zenesis 502 and the latest remote from easycar... i think they are both from the same company but i prefer going with a company with history behind it...
