ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Pretty awesome. That car looks freakin mint too!
I had a 2002 Mazda B4000 pickup that I got from my dad and I sold it last summer with 430 000km on it.
My Accord just rolled 220k KM when I traded it, and I bought a wrecked one with a salvage title that ran and drove and only had 182k KM on it. That thing was such a waste of a car because it was so clean, but got smashed in the quarter panel.

These cars will last a life time.
They are so repairable that you still have a choice of 2nd had parts, aftermarket or originals. Parts are still plentiful for a 20 plus yr old car!
The greatest advantage of owning this car is all the faults/repairs have been encountered, diagnosed, documented and solved. So saving $$$$$ is possible.
Brand new (or newish) cars that develop a check engine light or problematic symptom (no one has yet documented and solved or posted on the web for DIY) means you run to the dealer and deposit your $$$$$ in their bank account.Rides:

Many have been destroyed prematurely in my opinion because the external panels have been left out of the "maintenance" picture (accumulating rust, dents and deteriorating paint). Yes, after 20 yrs the body becomes a repair/maintenance item.
Future repairs are then evaluated on how the car LOOKS (and emotionally FEEL) and if it is worth keeping longer. An ill maintained body to most owners would result in not fixing it and thus accumulate the repairs (till its too much for them or anyone to restore). The car then gets junked unecessarily.
Most would find it easier (emotionally) and cheaper to replace an engine with transmission (on a shiny straight body) than the opposite (fixing the body on a car with good engine and transmission)
The exterior really represents a huge % of the pleasures of owning this accord (or any car for that matter). A poor exterior really removes MOST of the pleasures of owning one.
Put the money/effort on the exterior (fix rust, change dented/rusted panels) before modding and bragging on speed etc and this car will pay you back with alot of pleasurable driving experience and countless $$$ saved with zero depreciation and through successfull DIY being made possible through money saving knowledge of CB7Tuner and the web.Last edited by JDMDriver; 03-21-2012, 07:51 PM.Rides:
