ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

But it is. We all are ricers. Guys with cars from the 70's are Muscle guys, Guys with 60's big bodies are Lowrider Guys, Guys with primered out 60's and older cars are Hot Rodders/Greasers/Rockabillys, lifted trucks are Offroaders, lifted cars are usually Donks, Boxes, or Bubbles. We are the generation getting out of the whole "no replacement for displacement", we are the Ricer generation. Anyone in the scenes listed above wear their label like a badge of honor. We might aswell join them and stop hating people who hate on us. Stop the hate, educate. Lol.

do the engine then suspension first. if theyre gonna hate on your body then you can smoke em in a race. if you get the body looking good and cant show for it theyre gonna hate on you for that. i was in the same situation.

I drove my CB all three years of high school. My school is kinda on the
borderline of ghetto land and the rural area so nobody else had nice cars
unless their parents had money. Some kids with Civics would talk shit but
would always speed off before me or my buddies could get in our CBs, lol.
One thought is D15B was the best motor ever, lmao everytime I remember that guy.

Back in '02-'04 I rocked an 87 Celica GTS and 88 RX7 GX in high school.

Pretty much had the coolest cars in school. One guy had a Neon coupe that was all riced up and always wanted to race me. There was another guy with a 2000 Mustang convertible. It was yellow. And totally riced out...and a V6 auto. He rocked it like it was the coolest thing around and even the girls made fun of it. He got rid of the Mustanf and got an 89 Civic DX hatch. Baby blue with tribal vinyls. FnF wing on the roof, full bodykit, rims...this car was fully done....but very poorly and looked like a pile of ass and smoked smoke the same colour as the paint.

Me and my 2 best friends had my Celica, a 96 Golf and an 85 Olds Delta88 coupe.

This is my Celica I had in high school. I had some money saved up to buy a car, but my dad happened to win a $15 000 jackpot at the casino one night and said he'd buy me a car up to $5000. I lived out in the boonies, so I really needed a vehicle to get from my house to town, to school, to work, to my friends...

                          Nice winter beater eh? lol

Back in high school, I drove my handed-down 1986 Civic sedan (base). Horribly faded blue paint, automatic transmission, and had a dogged refusal to start on frosty mornings (thank you, carburetor).

However, I always kept the car immaculate, waxed, and smelling like Armor-All inside. It was only slightly embarrassing to bring to school because I made the best of what I had. Couldn't say the same for the kids who got brand new TSXs, 3-series, C-class Benzes. Spoiled brats, I say!
