Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    I'm just wondering if my "intro" thread got deleted? i've searched for it and cannot seem to find it. If it got deleted could you please tell me why?

      i wasnt, but some guy said he would be about 2 hours away & i said that was cool & to just hit me up. whats so wrong about meeting local ppl?

        Nothing... but 90% of this forum's members are nowhere near you, and we don't care to have the common areas cluttered with local discussions. That's what the regional sections are for.

        It's also in the rules Now would be a good time to look through them.

                It was deleted? Wasnt that where you had the before and after cleanup pics of your car?

                Either way once you hit 30 worthwile posts(not in beginner O/T) you can throw down in this.

                  i read the rules and it said, "no region specific threads" my thread wasn't region specific. and i never asked to meet anybody.

                    That's pretty specific if you ask me.

                    If your looking for a reason for Mods to keep an eye on you, your going the right way about it.

                      it was titled that, but i never asked to meet anybody. i was simply stating where i was and that i was new to the site. i never read in the rules that i couldn't state where i was/my location. i honestly don't care if mods keep an eye on me, i haven't done anything wrong.

                      im a member on a few forums & i have never had a thread deleted or been banned.

                        I can see where the confusion came from, but I gotta agree with this guy. He was just saying where he was from, not asking for a meetup. I don't see anything wrong with the thread. If it's really a big deal, we can just edit the title...
