ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Once you open that link, READ THE THREADS THAT ARE IN THERE!!

Bypassing Censored words will result in a ban.
Making new Names to bypass a ban will result in a ban.
Flaming Noobs and any slurs will result in a ban.
Post Whoring will result in a ban.
Selling in the beginner forums will result in a ban.
    ETC . . .

SURPRISINGLY ALL OF THIS CAN BE FOUND IF YOU READ THE RULES!!!!

If you feel like testing the rules, Please feel free to post in here and ask me if the ban button is currently active.

    Thank-you everybody

Yeah, but if everyone follows the rules, then we can't ban anyone! I like banning people. It's fun.

Is there any way that you, or any other mods, or Deev can make it so they can't really enter the forum, like be stuck on the home page until they've read the rules, and like signed something, or check a box that says they have read and understand the rules. That being their warning, if they enter the forum and fuck up, just instantly ban them, rather than give them a second chance, since they've claimed to of read and understood the forum rules?

It would a good idea, but you don't actually have to go to the homepage to enter the site.
www.cb7tuner.com/vbb will put you straight to the forum so no luck there.

The only feasible way would be to do it once they have made a username, but Deev doesn't like messing with the server settings

I COULD make it so they're limited to the Rules forum until they make one post... and that one post will be an acknowledgement that they read the rules. Then their status would change, as it does from beginner to regular member at 30.

But, that could also be a pain in the ass.

Can you imagine all the New threads in the rules forum that would be created each day if you did that?

We'd get pounded with PMs. People would certainly post stuff like that (especially once they're limited to teh Beginner forums)

Then we'd get the dumbasses that say "were do i find sum 1 peese hedlites 4 my ryde?" in the rules forum because they can't post anywhere else... I assume these people, when they have to urinate and the bathroom is occupied, would surely go in the fridge.

That's because people can't function normally without rules.
If people had to make up their own minds as to what is right or wrong, we'd all be dead.

If stupid people were allowed to make up their own minds as to what is right or wrong, we'd all be dead. That's why we have television. Keeps them occupied while the rest of us are trying to 'stupid proof' the planet.
                            Fixed.

I have a great idea. New members are not allowed to PM or post anywhere but in the Beginner off topic section until they reach 30 posts. Of course off topic posts don't count toward total posts, so we won't have to worry about anymore crap. Haha.
