ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

That's true. I never felt he was trying to rip anyone off, but if I want bisi parts, I want the functional pieces.

Agreed. His functional pieces are much more reasonably priced for the amount of engineering that has gone into them!

You want a part that's not made for your car? That's seriously overpriced, may not be authentic, and is most certainly discontinued (so if you blow one, the whole set is shot?)

I'll never understand why everyone flips out over these. They're Mugen (maybe), big whoop.

I love Mugen. True mugen products are of such great quality. And Spoon. Gotta love them too. But these are overpriced for what they are, and not even properly advertised...so yeaaaaahhhhh...

            nope.

            life is good.

I respect the man and his knowledge and experience, but I just can't justify that kind of money for what amounts to advertising pieces for bisimoto engineering.
See, I am actually one of the guys that would pay the rediculous price for these little things. Not so I can say I have them and rub it in others' faces, but I like popping my hood to see these overpriced collectors items.

On point, I would never buy the item the OP listed simply based on the fact that they aren't for our cars, and the seller is obviously a sketchy mofo. And the price is too high for me as well.

Seen this quite a few times. Looks really cool though.

I know that this setup isn't for our cars and I'm not saying I doubt any of you guys but how fucked up would it be if this was in fact made for CB's and it was something so rare that thru some strange happening or miracle they have survived unnoticed for 18 years.

We'd all be kicking ourselves in the ass.

If this was a genuine Mugen CB part, then it would be known that Mugen made CB parts... and it wouldn't be sitting there unbought for 6 months.

For the price of bisi's oil cap and two reservoir socks (brake and clutch) I can fill my 5 lb. bottle four times. That's WAY more fun to me than seeing a $45 piece of billet aluminum and a couple of wristbands.

You can rub a $45 oil cap in my face... I'll rub $45 cash in your face... because I have cash in my pocket, and you have an oil cap that's advertising someone else's business.

                      I wouldn't even pay $45 for a CB7tuner oil cap, and that's MY business!
