ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Blame the USA for the earthquake....its always our fault..lol

The leader of Venezuela Hugo Chavez is blaming the United States for Haiti's earthquake claiming that the U.S. tested a “tectonic weapon” causing the devastation.

According to Chavez the earthquake was a result of “weapon earthquakes” started by the U.S. that would eventually be used to take over Iran.

The Venezuelan media also coincides with Chavez's claim and reports that the earthquake "may be associated with a project called HAARP, a system that can generate violent and unexpected changes in climate."

HAARP which stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program has been the source of controversy for many conspiracy theorists.

Former Secretary of Defense William Cohen even expressed concerns over the program previously saying,

“In eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves…."

PRESS TV reports that the purpose of HAARP is “directed at the occasional reconfiguration of the properties of the Earth's ionosphere to improve satellite communications.”

Chavez also said the U.S should “stop playing God.”

Conspiracy theorists are going to love this….

Isn't the HAARP making all of the chemtrails? I don't know what weather control has to do with Earthquakes. Haiti is just jumping to conclusions. I hope they enjoy the 10 million dollars+ that the US raised for them.

Hugo Chavez needs a money shot in the eye. There just is no other solution. And they need to film it, and put it up on youporn, or some other public site.

He's just a fucking douche windbag that is trying to draw attention away from the fact that he is bankrupting his country and taking over as a dictator in an attempt to "free the people." SOSDD.

I've been thinking about this whole Haiti thing for a while now. Granted, it's a horrible event and I'm glad they're getting help. But my issue is this.

We're sending millions of dollars in aid to help them out, yet, here in the United States there are kids as well as adults alike sleeping on dirt floors, going to bed hungry, needing water, whatever. Why can't we take care of our own? it makes no sense to me, whatsoever.

Hugo Chavez is not associated with Haiti.

We have raised over 100 million to send to Haiti.

He is just trying to de-stabilize his part of the world so that more asshats like him can climb to power. He is probably doing as a reaction to the relatively conservative Chilean president-elect.

Because the international community wouldn't approve of THAT.

Plus, at some level we just have to deal with the fact that poverty is impossible to erradicate.

The US has never really been a country that takes care of its own. There are always people left out.

Chavez is using the Hitler technique... unify his people by creating a common enemy. It's easy to make his relatively poor country hate the land of excess that is the United States.

If he's right, I totally agree with him... but I doubt sufficient evidence of that would ever be found.
The US is a superpower. We have a crazy military. We've done some stupid things. But devastating a country, killing thousands, and leaving more homeless... that's not something we do. We'd risk losing our standing in the world economy if that happened. What would happen if other nations refused to buy or sell from a terroristic country that attacked and devastated an entire nation? We'd collapse VERY quickly. No US politician is stupid enough to take that risk.

Chavez knows this, I'm sure. He's not a stupid man. He's incredibly smart, actually. He also knows that the general public of his country isn't extremely educated, and their information sources are limited... so he can use such propaganda to his advantage.

Deeve, we don't even have a cohesive enough leadership to pull it off.

Another thing about this "weapon" is, why would we use it to destroy their country, then send aid to rebuild it? It seems a lot smarter and cheaper for the US to just leave it alone.

Kinda like Michael Jackson, wouldn't it be cheaper and less detrimental to just not touch those little boys butt holes?

And the money the US is sending to help Haiti and the billions we're spending on a war that we have no reason being a part of, that could help out millions of people in this country. I don't understand how we can be broke, have no money to do shit with, yet when we need another 20 billion for the war, there it is??

Eh, that would actually make it easier to pull it off. If those in charge are in chaos, those under them have more power and more control.

Not that I really buy into the conspiracy theory crap, saying our government is merely a figurehead with others pulling the strings... but it's not entirely impossible for certain things to go on under the radar.

Well... at least not for the purpose of testing a weapon!

Though I suppose destroying Haiti to test a weapon to be used against Iran wouldn't be much different than "liberating" Iraq just so we could maintain a military foothold in Iran's back yard.

Granted, we took Iraq with at least SOME international support, and we weren't secretive about it. We didn't indiscriminately attack civilians, at least not on a large scale (I'm sure many have died by US weapons, but I'm sure they were never the intended targets).
