ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    what should I do?

    I'm getting paid on friday!
so I've got a choice, but dunno what sounds better.
    what do you guys think?

    A. stock body kit (because my current kit is garbage, imo)
    B. new exhaust (because my current one is a nuisance)
    C. suspension (because my current stock ones are just no bueno)

    vroom.

Suspension if your able to spend $600ish dollars for a good set up.

Stock bumper and side skirts if your paycheck will be about $300 and you have a JY near you.

Is your current exhaust after market or OEM? If it's aftermarket, buy a better muffler to quiet it down.

If your suspension is dangerous, replace that ASAP. Then the exhaust, because you can get hassled for it if it's loud. THEN the body kit... and get painted.

Is that thing in your sig the car in question?

        yeah that's my little civic.

        it has an aftermarket exhaust.
        it's dual fart cans.
        and they're way too loud.
plus, I guess there's something wrong with the piping because it's not a standard Y shape?
I don't know exactly what it is, but I'm losing horses for it.

        vroom.

Yup. That's why deev already said it.

You're definitely losing horses to a dual exhaust. I'm guessing you bought the car that way?

Upgrade the suspension first, then start putting it back to stock, including exhaust. You can get all those civic parts at the yard for pretty cheap, including exhaust.

i have a civic like your's and i picked up a set of tein SS for 400 bucks for an EK. i just needed to replace the bushings in the rear lower arms with my modified ones so that the fork would fit over it.

the thing handles nice and i havent even added strut bars.

Suspension should be the first thing that you should replace. If a body kit cant wait, then get that first, but definetely suspension.

it was my older brothers car.
                      he was young haha.

I've been hearing Tein, H&R, or Tanabe springs (maybe coilovers) are the way to go?

I agree with what that guy up there said. :P

(nothing worse than having to go for a long drive with dual loud mufflers)

Yeah, I'd say go with suspension. I was going to right off, and didn't and now my struts are sad and I regret not taking care of them right away, now that it's cold out and I'm waiting to hear if I have a garage to use, I'm wishing I did it at the end of the summer.

                            life is good.

                              I think that's probably what I'll do.
                              yay springs

just curious, if I sold the kit on my car, what would you guys pay for it?
just so I can get an estimate.
