Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    How stupid can people be?

    So yesterday, as i opened the window at the drive thru at work i smelled gas.....nothing new it happens all the time, i went on about my business and went ahead and gave the teenagers their food. now i know they had been skipping school cause it was only 2 aclock. Well out of no where some older guy pops up. scared the shit out of me, i knew forsure i was about to be rubbed for the crapy two hundred bucks in the cash regester. lol..... but no he was simply telling the teenagers that their car was leaking a massive amout of gas. with a stupid look on their face they gave him a thanks and started to drive away like everything was cool. but the older guy quickly told them to pull over and call someone becasuse it would have been a bad idea to drive away. well the went ahead and pulled over and parked.

    the next thing that i was just shocking to me. now if it would have been me, i would gotten everybody out of the car for safety ofcourse. well thats the oppisite of what they did. they simply got out looked underneath the car and got back "IN" the car and eat their food! after a couple of munites they got back out clean the gas of the bottom of the tank with our handy napkins that i had giving them. i guess the believe that just simply cleaning off the gas would make it stop leaking. well they got back in the car and drove away. the last thing i saw was the car scrape on the road as the left the parking lot.

    ALL I COULD SAY WAS WHAT A BUNCH OF DUMBASSES. I REALLY WANTED TO SEE AND HEAR WAS A GREAT BIG CLOUD OF SMOKE IN THE DISTANCE FOLLOWED BY A GREAT LOUD EXPLOTION. LOL


    i just wanted to see if yall had the same opion with me on this story.

    I had a friend with an 04 GLI. He had a new fuel pump installed, and the dealership messed something up with the gasket. It was leaking terribly. I followed him back to the dealership so he could drop the car off. As I'm driving behind him, I notice something that made me want to smack him (and I did once we finally stopped...)

    He was smoking. Flicking his ashes outside the car. A car that is leaking highly combustible fuel, and carrying a large amount of it... and he decided that lighting something on fire inside said car would be a good idea...

            I think I would have kept my ass near a phone. Even if they didn't explode they'll eventually have an empty tank and damn if I want to be stranded on the side of the road with no help.



            I think I could have waited to smoke that cigarette Deev lol.

                      I'd like to refute your comment. A couple weeks ago I was driving home from work and thought I smelled fuel. I pulled to the side of the road, popped the hood and saw that the fuel line to the nitrous solenoid was leaking a little. I broke out my pocket knife and fixed that shit right then and there. The last thing I wanted was a fiery explosion ruining a buzz!
