Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

      Alpine IDA-X200 Headunit

      Stock Speaker Setup.

      I would rate the system a 6/10 as a whole. It really doesnt sound that bad. I think future mods would be Alpine front and rear's and maybe a single sub for bass. Though im not to big on huge sound systems.


      A nice car is a dime a dozen. It's the amount of respect you give your car that makes it a GREAT car...and it shows.

        amp is under the seat lol sooo cant take pix of that. this is an old pict. but nothing has really changed
        this system hits harder than the 2 12's i had in the trunk with a 1800watt max amp. + it weighs hardly anything
        system rating 9/10 ( i used to have 2 bazooke tubes with a 425 rms kicker amp till they were stolen )

        off brand amps are the best IMO (350watt max)

          Sony deck (a real nice one ) cd500gt (i think)
          old school kenwood 9 band eq with sub control
          old school phoenix gold amp 65x2 on my front stage
          old school kicker 240zx (around 300 watts) on my bass
          pair of infinity reference tweets in the triangle pillars on the doors
          pair of 4" jbl (out of a center channel house speaker) in the kick panels
          pair of 6.5 in pioneer 8 ohm drivers in the doors
          pair of JL 10w3v1 in the trunk in a sealed enclosure

          and...

          Very well installed (it took me 8 hours) alarm with many different horns ...

              kenwood 6x9 in back
              600 watt pioneer4channel amp to speakers
              2 15inch cvrs with 1800 watt monoblock kenwood amp
              2.5 fard cap(just went out) so im back to 1 farad fogate cap
              0 gauge wire

              plans include tweeters with crossovers and upgrading to 12' mtx subs 15s take up all my trunk

                          i got two tens...im not too descriptive cuz i dnt really care for systems..my bro do all my stuff...he work in car audio and genius so yea.... american dx..made my own box...and got it running on a sundown 2000.....not bad....i beat 12s easy.. ...um prolly the loudest ive seen in a cb7 will have to go to my bro....he got a RD5 amp..just look it up...amp itself is like 600...running on a cascade omega 15....made his own box....dynamat all over..two batts..component set speakers. running on a PG amp..he hits like 147 Db fixing to go to big 3 and switch to 160 high output alt.....not bad...lol

                              stock tape deck with stock speakers all around. and a tape adapter to connect to my ipod. hahaha
                              future plans:
                              1. alpine head unit that is ipod ready
                              2. type r 6.5" components in the front and in the rear
                              3. what ever amp i can find that is sufficient enough to run the two sets of components
