Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    inspiredaccord: an introduction

    ok so i have been lurking this site for a while now I have a 1990 honda accord ex 5spd i bought the car in late 2000 early 2001 I have always been a car guy mostly aftermarket stuff, rims, stereo systems and the like when i got the car it had some 15 rims and no stereo but it was clean and the inside was near perfect i started wth rims and a pioneer system moving up from 15's to 16's with a set of chrome enki spiders after that came the short stack intake and a canister exhaust muffler then i upgraded and got a 4/2/1 header a racing cat and full custom 2" exhaust to a 5" tiped race cannister


    i had the new exhaust on for about 3 months when the berrings when out in the crank shaft i have had her sitting up for a year or more and now I am doing an engine swap to get her back running I had an F22A4 in and swaping to an F22B with vtec

    i have a lot of future plans for this car and thought id join here and post about it hope you like the pics

    BTW I really woulden't go for an f22b vtec, f22a head flow better, or get an h series.....but its you choice.

        i wanted to do an h22 but ive got the engine already it was cheap and at this point its more about getting it moving than how much performance i can get out of it I just want to do a few bolt ons and keep it simple

                  the pics above are from 6 months ago i had the car moved to where i live now and took the old motor out with a friend, im not a mechanic but I have done all my own maintance since owning the car I have gone through 1 distributor 1 starter 1 clutch and 1 radiator before losing the crank shaft

                  right before it went out i replaced the head thats what led me to this site I bough a mildly modified head and custom valve cover from a guy on ebay who said the job was doneby someone on CB7tuner.com here are the head and valve cover

                            everything was ready to go took it for a good run on the highway and the bearing went out just as i get to the exit close to my house its been a year and some change now and I found a F22B SOHC Vtec from a 97 acura Cl from a jdm engine wearhouse so i know the engine is in good condition as far as low millage and since it was an automatic it prolly has not been driven hard so when I do the install of the 5spd from my A4 and a few bolt on mods i will have more than is needed to have some fun with it

                            i know its not the best swap for power and all but i like the reliability of a honda engine and all i wanted was the Vtec anyway so for my first swap its just enough for me ive found everything I need including a bolt on turbo kit so i can make enough horsepower to get my blood flowing
