ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

With much, much research. The SRT4 isnt that ungodly unreliable. Its swift, and the ACR edition has the suspension upgrades to tolerate the extra added power given bolt-ons+stage kits or what have you. Though rare, ive found 3 in Virginia.
Im actually leaning more toward the SRT4 now actually. But im keeping the Cb7 and fixing everything that is wrong with it. It will make a super daily if i can fix everything.
it already suits me well, even with bad rotors and whatever that clicking noise is in my steering column. lol. Which mind you, i got quoted 300 dollars to replace rotors on (Honda friend will do for case of beer..shew).
I replaced the thermostat and lower radiator hose and changed the oil and filter over the past week as well as new v-power's. Overheating is a thing of the past and after driving on stock NGK's ill take cheap OEM spark plugs over expensive platinum plugs any day. The reponse is much better.
This car is both a headache, yet rewarding. But i think the SRT4 suits me much better and fits into my price range very well vs the sti, evo, cobra and whatever other sub 25k "boy racer" category can provide. Also, the interior. The ACR viper inspired seats are great. The only thing i cant stand is that horrible factory dodge radio, it reminds me of a stratus or something. I have a red/black Alpine IDA X200 in the cb i will probably install into the SRT when i get it.
I dont see any other option for me. It performs, and requires only small adjustments and upgrades to perform better. Plus they look super mean with the eyelids. almost like a snake (yea, i know).
I LOVE my cb7. Its a love hate relationship but even when I Chris Brown it, it keeps on kicking LOL.

A nice car is a dime a dozen. It's the amount of respect you give your car that makes it a GREAT car...and it shows.

Im terribly add.
I've been reading about the k24 swap into the cb.
I just dont know how much it would all cost really. I know the K24 longblock isnt that expensive at all.
its the transmission and all the custom fab that goes into it that makes it expensive (for instance...the tranny is on the other side!)
Im a SUCKER for k swapped hondas...the potential is insane. They actually respond to bolt ons. and i can pick up a 5spd cb in good condition 4 door for 1700. (maybe lower if i haggle him).
I think buying a new SRT that already performs would go against my ambitions and beliefs. Built not bought. Ive always respected honda owners with clean swapped quick cars more then someone with a 100000000 HP STI that they bought a pre-fabbed stage kit for. Its just not my style. What im saying is, i want a fast CB. And if i k-swapped it....it would be a new car all over again. chime in deever. lol
