ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    What kind of plugs?

    Whats every ones Favorite?
i use NGK in everything it seems to me like other plugs dont work as well in import cars just my own opinion

oem is ngk, i stick with the standard ones...always seemed to run better with our accords.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

    Retro!

I love nooBs...They make me look good

I have used Denso Iridium in my B16's in the past and have no complaints.

I always use either NGKs or Denso. Both have worked out great for me. I tried Champion once...hahahah. That was funny. Car ran like ass till I threw a set of NGKs back in

NGK and Denso are OEM manufacturers. They work best.

I've tried a number of different types, and noticed no difference. Bosch Platinum 4+ is the only kind that seemed to foul quickly, and have any noticeable loss in power. I can't say that was 100% the plug's fault, though.

A properly functioning plug is the best you're going to get... which means some fancy plug isn't going to outperform NGK in terms of power and efficiency.

                  Ah yes, BOSCH. a.k.a., crapola.

The problem with Bosch plugs lies in their crappy distributor connector plugs, amongst other areas.

Because they're not form fitted to their applications very well, the amount of slack the wires have between actual electrical connections to the dizzy and the little rubber boot that shields them, it's just plain DIFFICULT for you to plug them in without the boot forcing them out with their constant counter-force.

I never tried cutting back the boot a little bit - which, in hindsight, may have solved this problem. But the point of purchasing application-specific plug wires defeats the need for having to make modifications like this, after all.

Also, the rubber has a tendency to crack and chip.

                  Just saying.
                  My pictures/photos will return soon...

I put those Bosch platinum plugs in mine (before any know how of cars). 8 dollars a friggin plug and it runs like garbage. It pinc's, it idles rough as all get out. VPOWER's going in today as a matter of fact...Oem ftw. 1.99. lol.

A nice car is a dime a dozen. It's the amount of respect you give your car that makes it a GREAT car...and it shows.
