Keep your head up man. It'll get better. I was laid off from my solar engineering job in April of this year. Two months later I got hired by one of their competitors and we are very busy. My job is secure for now but I can definitely relate to what you are going through.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i'm thinking about looking into that "general contracting" in Afghanistan for the military. Firefighters are making like 95K a year while guys that work the mess halls or other piddly shit are earning 75k. granted you have to have a clean record and a bunch of other things but damn.. that and you get to be away from home for a while.

If any of you live anywhere close to the ocean or driving distance to it in Texas, Louisiana, or Mississippi you can go to offshoremarineindustries.com. They are hiring right now to work offshore and inshore. I'm in the process of going through getting all of my shit together to be able to work there. You'll need money to pay for the safety class, TWIC card, and a background check. That's the bad part. But they'll take a credit card on the TWIC and Safety class but the background check has to be paid for in cash or check. Just putting this out there in case someone interested.

I know how much it sucks. I got a shitty timeline
Graduate College - Starting point 0
Unemployed and Spending all savings - 0-6 months
Find Job and move home - 6-9 months
Laid off and not able to collect unemployment - 9-12 months
Working not in my field(market sucks and is flooded) - 2 weeks
Its some money but i think i get 175-200 a month for gas and shit after school loans and credit cards. I need to start working more overtime.
