Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    so i got my high flow cat i ordered from ebay today and its not even the right one....should be call E-SCAM lol

      What exactly makes it the "wrong one"?

      Most high flow cats are universal.

      1999 BMW M3
      2001 Honda CR-V SE RT4WD
      2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71
      2015 Suzuki V-Strom 650

        true have you tried to see if it will fit and make sure you read fine print watt is pictured is not always watt your buying i learned the hard way

            Well, depending on how "permanent" you want it to be, you could get it all welded together.

              Alright i would get everything welded together but i was wondering if Headers+ Hi Flow Cat+stock EX exhaust would be to loud?, im not worried bout emissions here because they don't test here haha

                Although the stock catback will be incredibly retrictive, yes it'd work and probably wouldn't be much louder than it currently is.

                      OEM.

                      Test pipes just pollute the air, smell like crap, and make noise. The 1-2hp gain isn't worth it. My friend puts his test pipe on for the track, then puts his cat back on afterward.

                        Thanks man ill just keep my OEM cat then i thought there could be temperature issues since im going to be using headers+ OEM cat + stock exhaust wasn't sure so i bought the high flow cat.

                          The OEM cat should work just fine.

                          If you ever feel the need to get a proper high-flow cat, the only one I would ever suggest is the one made by SMSP. Everything else seems to fit poorly, flow poorly, and not work as a cat should. For the minimal gains (if any), it's not worth polluting the air any more than it already is! Emissions laws are slowly killing our hobby...
