Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    problem

    Ok the other day i was driving my cb coming home from denny's(like around 11pm). While driving the light turned red, there was nobody around but this one guy walking on the sidewalk. As he got to the road he starts doing a lite jog,i always put my windows up in my other car when i see someone coming but since my cb is a dx i didnt feel like going threw all that. All of a sudden he go's to the passenger side, unlock's the door and trys to get in. I almost shitted in my pants, I quickly step on the gas and take off.

    that being said, momz is making me sell the cb to get one with power everything, so i will have a new ride soon!!!!!!!!!!

    Damn sucks to here that, I would have also shitted my pants and damn that is so unbelievable.
    Is there any way you can switch the panels and putt new electrical harness to make everything power?

    sorry if that does not make any sense, but f you do end up selling the cb post pics of the car you buy

        been searching the net and i would have to change the whole door for power windows.
        the ebay kits dont work.

            a buddy of mine has a shop that installs both automatic locks and windows. it may cost a little more because he uses european actuators for some reason but it will definitly be worth it. im trying to save up for some.

              so in this case of car jacking , if you shot the guy, is it still considered self defense?

              i prefer crank windows but i always leave my passenger side window up on all my rides or the door locked all the time with the window barely cracked.

                I seriously doubt anything like that will ever happen again... Hardly a reason to get rid of your car.

                      You're just gaining experience in which you will be more aware next time.
                      It's not a reason to sell the car.
