ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It's all about individuality. That's what brings the tuner community together. Like the Scion commercials say "become one of us by becoming none of us"

You may not like it, the guy sitting next to you may not like it, but, that's what that person wanted to do with their time, money, and work. I'd drive it.

With the whole "JDM" craze that's goin on, a lot of people are gonna bash it, say its "ricey" perhaps it is, but, I think until someone puts that kind of time, money and work into a car, they have no room to talk shit. I'm not saying you, or anyone else is talking shit about it. But, more times than not, the guy that always talks shit about cars like that is the one driving the 1987 Pontiac Bonneville or some other heap of shit, that has put no time, money, or anything into their car.

      Ok, I think I'm done

its not really my style, but i like it. everything that was done, was done right. none of it seemed to be half-assed shade-tree shitty mods.

Its not a disgrace at all. It's not my taste of cars, but i was at that show and theres so much detail in all those cars. And the two wagons are super dope, if i had a wagon it would defiantly b bagged up. And that type r at the 9mn mark my boy ran him on the way home in his ss cobalt and beat him.

wow definitely not my style i could have thought of a thousand better things to do with that accord but it's not my car and you don't build your car for everyone else unless you are a moron. you build your car for you. so i can appreciate the work that has gone into it even though it's not the path i would have taken.

I'd definately sport bags if I had a wagon too.

There was a lot of work put into those cars. I wouldn't say it's rice, it's just that those are show cars. Most of us on here like to drive/race/autocross our cars so those kinds of mods are not practical. But for people who like custom car shows, those cars are where it's at. We have meets, they have shows.

That green Civic with the spiders on it was at the last CB7 meet we had in south jersey. There's like $30,000 put into that car, and he actually drives it.

They're show cars. That's what you do with show cars. You go extreme and impractical.

Just like a full race car. A drag Honda that can run 11s isn't much of a street car.

i dont understand why people put so much money into those cars to make them look like they do.

i actually like these kind of cars that are purely all show and practically no go. i already had another thread full of pics from a car show like that i went to a couple months ago. i was just wondering what this community thinks of this because it seems like no one here has a ricey car at all. eveyrone cars for their ride deeply and doesnt put much effort into making the car look absolutely crazy. everyone here seems to have a nice clean look and thats what i love.

as for the money going into these cars, i can only imagine. my uncle is a hospital janitor and works for a car parts store, yet he manages to have two fully customized 240SX's in his garage. it amazes me.

If we only c on black and white it would be a boring live.thats why there is plenty of colors to choose from, same thing with cars I u likr then rock it if not then don't.

I'm not into car shows like that but damn they all look good. What's not to like it's a HONDA.
