ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

License plate.
Do you have another car? I've transported many a car with plates from my other cars It's not legal, but as long as the cops don't have any reason to run them, they'll never know. The point is to just avoid being noticed.
The other option is to leave it where it is, get it registered and insured, and then drive it home with plates that belong on it. That would be the better option.
Or... tow it. Get AAA.

Yea if the cops do pull you overt and figure out that those plates don't belong to that car, its a big fine and they'll tow it, because its an unregistered car.
If your state does temp plates, get one of those. usually cheap.
Or if you are planning to keep the car awhile, register it. You have the bill of sale and title and all, right?

Yes its true. They did it in California a while back, but it was a combo of cars that were unregsitered and that were seized during the street racing epidemic.
but going with Deevergote said, you could try to do the fake plates but youre doing that on your own risk...thats why I keep 20 to 25 real license plates with current tags on them, in my possession, with another 500 on the walls...taking pictures sucks ass.
or just get a one day temp plate...in Arizona you can go to the DMV and for a buck, you can get a 3 day Temp plate.

I agree with Deev and say run the car home on a set of plates from another car. Just be smart and dont give the cops a reason to suspect you and pull you over. I have done this from time to time when buying cars. I just drove a car from West Virginia to Maryland 3 1/2 hrs this way!! I have friends that swap plates daily so they can drive different cars they own.KDI CUSTOMS-AUTOMOTIVE UPHOLSTERY www.kdicustoms.com
