ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Need advice...

So basicaly, i need some of yours opinion.

Im currently lookin foward to buy my second accord... not cuz 1 isnt enough but i've sell mine 2years ago and i kinda miss it lol!

I've looked around and found some decent one, lot of millage, some with rust etc. Basicaly, i prefer it to be 5speed as i enjoy drivin it insteed of just rollin.

#1 - So what im wondering is, would it be worth takin a Black 91 EXR 4doors F22A 5speed has a wing(OEM which looks great imo) with a bit of rust(under the car) 380,000 km. i've inspected the car, and there will be at least another 1000$ just in part to make it safe, that mean bushing, pads, rear brake cylender/ring, coils and so on. then finaly swap it to an H22A(2000$) and then work the body? Hes askin 1000$ without the rims

#2 - Or should i buy a Burgundy 92 EX 4doors 5speed with an H22A(would probly need work) with only a small spot of rust on the left rear panel(without the oem wing). There's some stuff that need to be fixed such as the driver door handle, front lip need to be changed as its falling(holding only by few bots, but not really dangerous), probably need to change the master cylender, water pump and the timing belt in the near futur, oh and also the alternator. Hes askin 3500$ without rims(come with oem one tho)

Both car looks great, runs great even though they both need some work done to it.

As far as i know, EX has electrical windows/mirrors and door lock. EXR as the electrical sunroof and oem wing.

Both cars sound like they have their good and bad. IMO #2 is the way to go. It is already H swapped and body looks straight. If I were you, Id look at what direction you want to go with your car. Then look at where the 2 cars are at and find the one that is gonna fit your agenda.

Also, what are your skills? If you are a mechanic, then fixing all the lil shit is a nothing and a swap is a piece of cake!! If you are a bodyman, that rust and paint aint nothing to fix and putting a wing on is easy!! You get where Im coming from? GL with the car search!

You're right for the Canadian models. In the US, the EX is the same as your EXR. It makes things confusing when US members don't realize they're talking to a Canadian member!

If you have mechanical abilities, or money to have work done, I would go with the 92. No sunroof, but it sounds like there is less rust. With the abundant and inexpensive parts for these cars, mechanical repairs are cheaper and easier than sheetmetal repairs. The h22 is nice, if it's not in bad shape. I'm also partial to the 92-93 appearance.

Also, your English is fine, and this is a good place for this thread. It's funny... the people that apologize are usually the ones that aren't a problem! The kids that don't read anything, post in the first forum that they click on, and type like they're text messaging their girlfriend that get irritating... Far too many of those on here lately!

Good luck with whichever car you decide to get!
