ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

lol i leave with any nut, bolt, switch, or sensor i can hide in my toolbox or on my person... interior swaps, i hoard alternators(boom boom system eats em up)... usually a spare master cylinder and booster that would be considered a junk yard "upgrade"... lol needless to say if i could fit the whole car in a buggy i'd take it piece by piece

I look for anything that's usually broken on my car, Legend lips, CD5 lips, anything good that I can get my hands on really. And if I don't have the money for it all I use the stash-n-stow method and come back for it later.

If you have anyone on here has a Pull-A-Part near them they should definately go to their site and "Request a Car" and they'll email you as soon as they get one on the lot. That's really helpful because I know if you aren't there within a few days of it getting there, its tore to hell and back.
We are all ricers, it just depends what flavor rice you are.

Yep, I found an actual oem Honda alarm one day. I was surprised. I'd looked that car over a few times, never saw it. Then, one day, a friend of mine and I were there, and BAM!! there it was.

Still has all the plugs intact, all the little sticker things on the wiring specifying where they go. A great find, I thought

question, where exactly did you find the alarm; do not mean which junk yard but where in the car?

They had it under where the drivers seat was. There was no seat in it, but it was buried. Moved some stuff around, and there it was. We took the time to pull all the wiring, and to make sure all the plugs were intact.

The junk yards I go to were the shit back when I had my 240's. I found all the parts I needed for both of them. However, now that they are very popular they have become really hard to come by. As for my CB it hasn't failed me yet.

that exactly what i found , i also found these two "radio alarm " cards that went with the oem radio , i have the cards but didnt grab the radio, but i have the instruction and it was to prevent theives from stealing from the car , it said something about " if a thieve tries to steal your radio and the radio detects a voltage rating lower that normal, it would ring the alarm"
