Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

      got my eyes set on an older prelude i spyed sittin behind some old fart's house... not too sure on the year cuz he lost the keys and i couldn't open the doors, and OF COURSE the title's in the glovebox... ugh... newho it's the 2.2 factory turbo and flip headlights... the turbo blew the oil line and locked up few years ago according to the old fudd... but... he only wants 750obo for it... the body's in good shape, a little paint bubbling here and there but overall good! the car is red, REALLY REALLY red, or it was before it sat in the sun a couple years... and the badges are or were gold... any info bout this car from you honda guys? is it worth 750?

        When you say its got the flip headlights...its either a 1990 or 1991. Cause any P'lude after that didnt have the flip headlights.

        if the motor is locked up, and you dont have the mechincal know how, then 750 bucks is a waste of money. However, if you have another F22 laying around, you can put it in and have a nice ride. But I would try to look for a newer P'lude...or stay in the tradition of this forum and get another Cb7.

          also dont BS yourself into " gotta have this car" go look around...cause when you say it has bubbles that is another issue all together...

          Look around, cause in this recession deals are being made on some really nice stuff.

            as far as i know the engines good, just the snail siezed up... i have an appointment with my lawyer this weekend

              Well, most importantly, the good thing is that you're OK physically. If you need a reason to be happy, at least be glad you don't have to deal with medical bills too.

              It seems like you're taking a pretty good attitude about this, for that.

                eh... last year i almost got burnt to death at a bonfire... my attitude since then is not to be mad, it coulda been worse...


                so what info can ya'll tell me about this flip light lude i'm eyeing up... 2.2 factory turdbo... i still have my 93cb7 5spd with the cooked head... idk i think i mite pick up the lude just to do a motor swap...

                i started with 3 cb's... now i'm down to one... and it doesn't run... how fun...

                    What exactly do you mean by factory turbo? I don't even think there was a 2.2 liter 3g Prelude.

                      if i'm correct i do believe the motors a 2.0 in the lude... not a 2.2... my apologies... i'm just trying to find out what i can before i make up my mind wether or not to pick it up...

                          After reading the OP, I was going to post almost exactly the above statement.

                          As much as it would suck to be in the receiving end of that lawsuit, I have to agree and say it's time to sue him for what he's worth.. or at least the cost of your vehicle, hospital bills and damages.

                            lol no offence taken, ive owned lots of probes... not way its a probe... inless they came with a completely boxy body and honda badges... the early probe gt's that you refer too have a longer hood and while still being box(ish) are still rounder than a early lude... though the probe 2.2 fits nicely in mid 90's escorts
