ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What did you pay for your CB7?

I work for a Honda dealership in parts sales. A customer of ours towed in their 1990 grey accord coupe 5spd with 223k. Car was not running. The tech wrote up a change order on the car for $1100 in parts and labor. Distrubutor, coil, igniter, cap, rotor, wires and plugs. Customer approved all the work and then dissappeared. The car sat for 10 months while the dealership got a lean againest the car. They did a internal auction for honda employee's and I won the bidding. Got the car for $600 and after tt&l paid $809. I threw a battery in it and drove it home. Everything works and the AC blows 40 degrees.

I paid $250 for mine. Now have somewhere around $1200 in it. Replaced tie rod ends, Sumitomo tires, front brakes, all seals & gaskets, head (old one was cracked on every exhaust port), plugs, wires, rotor, cap, ignitor, radiator, both fans, all 4 tail lights, & still in process of changing interior to black. Tag was expired 2 years and only cost $80 to get caught up & legal. All this has been done since Jan 1st so the cost has been awsome to me. Less than $300 a month for 5 months and I have a nice car and no payments. I win!

Oh and I'm the second owner! First guy bought it in '90 about an hour from my house.
Officially "hilarious mad sarcastic"! Thanks CB74christ for the recognition of my work.

I paid about $75 for my 92 Accord. It was more or less a hand-me-down but i got it wrecked and probably have put roughly $500 into it right now. Not too bad for a car that runs great and is paid off!
We are all ricers, it just depends what flavor rice you are.
