ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

So the lady i hit doing a whopping 20 mph max is now trying to claim 15,000 in damages and claim an injury. when i talked to the guy just 2 days ago however the quote was 1,800 for the van and 200 for a rental. as it was the cop who showed up asked us both if there were injuries and since it was such a minour collision he went off on another call. the wonderful part is i made sure to take pictures immediately. they didn't. looks like i'll be dealing with insurance companies today rather than going to class!

                Found another CB

so i was looking on craigslist a few weeks back and saw a 91 cb for $650. well i call and leave a message and don't hear back for a week. i figure the guy sold it. well he didn't. it's a 91 ex with an A4 in it. the guy said he started it one day, it made a loud pop, and stopped running. i checked under the hood and it looked just like a snapped belt. but the not the timing belt. i only glanced cause it was cold as balls out and windy. well i already have a built motor so that didn't matter. so i put 150 down and told him i'll be back in a few weeks to pay it off.

lookin on craigslist...again...and found a guy looking to buy an F22A. i called him and told him i was going to be ripping one out soon and i'd let it go for 500.

so i might just end up with a better CB than the one i had for a whopping $150!

This looks like it's turning into a wrecked CB thread. The damage doesn't look that bed but you'll have to worry about the radiator support thought. There are two options: Pull it or just but another one. I'm picky so I'd get another one. Sucks to hear about the lady too. Some people man. GL
