ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I'm gonna give ebay another chance

So I've decided lately I may be have been a little to harsh on not buying parts off of ebay. I still can't stand listing "ebay" as a manufacturer but as far as using it to purchase items...I shall try anew.

One Problem...I went and tried to find some red/clears...only goes to 94 honda accords...can't search older than 94...whaaaaaaat am I doing wrong?

It's always bugged me when people list ebay as the manufacturer. ebay is just a store, they don't make a damn thing. If it's generic, call it generic, call it unknown, call it a bargain, whatever.
A lot of the generic stuff on ebay has a company name somewhere, it might be jimmyjoeracing.com, so now you have a jimmyjoeracing header, but that's better than calling it ebay brand.
Badmouthing the cheap shit on ebay gives it a bad name for those who don't know better, then they start asking questions about "Are these NIB Tein springs on ebay any good? I know everyone says not to buy ebay parts."
They start to associate ebay with crap, and that's not the case.

Having had my little mini-rant, good for you. Ebay is a great source for parts at a good price, it's just a matter of sorting out the crap from the quality, and if there isn't anything good right now, wait a few days and check again. Patience is your wallet's best friend!

I agree... I have bought and sold ALOT on ebay, and most of the regular members on the forum know that... It's all about the research and the seller... eBay is just a flea market... Its all about the seller's and their goods.

Yea, most of the stuff I got from Ebay was really worth it. I just got a header/test-pipe combo, with a cat-back, and without a cat or anything to filter out the noise, it sounds REALLY good. It has a real low tone, and isn't obnoxious, WITHOUT the silencer, which I had a feeling I'd have to get some sort of resonator on it. With the silencer, it sounds stock. Most say Ebay exhausts sound like shit, but mine sounds better than my last one I got done at a shop.

I got my tails from a kid that got them off Ebay, and they aren't bad at all. Not sure if this would help, might be what you're looking for? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91...Q5fAccessories

When I search on Ebay for parts for the car, even though it's a 91, I type like "90 accord ____", just because most things are posted as "accord gauge cluster 90-93".

You don't have to like what he did, but I would hope that you can appreciate the time, money and love that went in to the build. If you can't, you're not really an enthusiast, just another dumb kid with a car.-visualpoet

eBay's year search (generally) goes back to the 30's or some such. If you've already put in your search terms (red/clear) and selected make & model, and then try to select the year, & the year you want isn't listed, then their aren't any auctions that match you search terms for that year/make/model combo.
Right now there's only one set of red/clears listed for a CB, and its in someone's ebay store, and its for 90/91.

curious. i have a 93 2dr and it since its the coupe i guess they are supposed to have the tail lights like the 90-91. if i bought the red/clear tail lights for a 90-91 would they work right? cause i am noticing on that tasauto site that the keyhole for the trunk is in a different spot.

Yeah, make sure you check off "Store Inventory" under search options. Though I'm pretty sure he's not looking for that red eye clear euro style that's listed second.
