Legally, there's nothing you can do if he does make some "cb7tunner.com" decals. They'll be like having a pair of Nikke shoes or an Addiddas hoodie.

Now if he learns to spell it correctly, then you've got some recourse.

Relax, he was just messing with you. visualpoet is actually a pretty cool guy. He didn't mean anything by it. We all do it to each other at one point in time or another (some more than others) but this is actually a pretty laid back site with some really cool people.

It was in the Merchandise thread, before I deleted it (temporarily. It'll be back). I will also be putting it in the new Rules forum.

The CB7tuner.com name and logo are MY property. Any use of the name and logo are a representation of MY site, and must pass my approval before they are used. Any item made for personal use still counts, because I don't care to have my site represented by poorly made designs. If you want to make something that I do not offer, and will not offer in the future, then approach me with the idea (the CB7tuner.com lanyards are an example of this). If you do not ask for my permission before using the name or logo, I may just contact a lawyer... just to have the item destroyed. I have lawyers in the family. It won't cost me much.
If you sell the item without my permission, then I will certainly seek legal action.


I don't mean to sound like a dick... but I have paid a very large sum of my own money over the years to keep this site operating FOR FREE for you guys. (don't be fooled by the ads... I find more money on the sidewalk than those things generate) Donations are few and far between. Decal sales are the largest source of income for this site, when I'm able to get them sent on time.

Promoting the site really only costs me more money. More bandwidth used = a higher hosting bill. I want the site to grow, but I don't care to have people taking money out of my pocket to make promotional items. That increases the amount of traffic, and decreases the amount of income!


I'm not in this for profit. I never have been. That's why there is minimal advertising (and most of the advertising, save for the Google ads, is for companies owned by members here). However, it DOES cost me quite a bit every month. Please appreciate that.

That does come off as a LITTLE "douchy" ( <----is that even a word ha ha), but its a nessesary evil, and totally justified.

Truth is Id be pissed too if people were jacking my logo (poorly) and using it, or worse, SELLING IT. So I can appreciate your response.

I just wish I had the deal for CB7 decals.... oh well, thats what I get for showing up late to the party.

Il buy 2 sets when they become available again.

(That's what the little laughing guy means) I'll try to keep in mind that you don't like to be kidded about things in the future. If we joke withyou, it means we like you. Look around and see how we treat people we don't like. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out who they are.

I do have to ask though; if you took that so seriously, how bad did you panic about Deev threatening a lawsuit? (ANOTHER JOKE!!)
