So Bisi got 5th place in the top tuner challenge with his F series, I guess there's only so much a naturally aspirated single cam engine can do.........

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I have been following the SCC VQ35 build which was the other NA engine, and it was EXTREMEMLY extensively modified by Cosworth (no small apples in terms of knowledge, after all they have built successful F1, and Cart engines), and they made the same HP as Bisi, and only slightly more torque, with over 1 liter extra displacement and some quite exotic hardware.
Also, keep in mind too that there were multipliers in effect for all of the other engines. Accoding to the Top Shop Challenge rules, that 1,000HP engine would have been divided by 2 since it was boosted, which means that despite all of the boost being crammed down, it beat Bisi by less than 150HP.
The fact that he used one of the most "pedestrian" Honda engines EVER made took it to another level. The competitors wouldn't know about things like the valve angle etc, they would only know that it was SOHC, had no VTEC (the only thing that can make Hondas fast in most minds), and was a long stroke, small displacement NA engine that was designed over 20 years ago. I think it is awesome.Last edited by owequitit; 11-20-2008, 06:50 PM.

I completely agree with "owequitit". And if he had worked his magic with a smaller displacement engine like the b16 or 18 he would have for sure won. But I do give mad props to the AMS crew that got first place, cuz they got 1000hp out of a 2litre engine, or the team that got 963hp out a sr20, I mean DAMN! We just look up to Bisi cuz of the f22.
P.s. Can't wait for the h22 bisimoto header, mua ha ha ha.VTEC DUDE!!!!!!!
