best gas mileage

I just got 400.1 miles out of my car. I love this thing. Its fun to drive and easy on the wallet. just had to tell some one.

Auto or Standard?
400 miles isn't amazing, unless it was all stop and go traffic.
It's good, don't get me wrong, but definitey not the "best gas mileage".
That only averages out to 23mpg.

I just went to Saracuse NY and back to Lunenburg MA on one tank! it was 486 miles!! doin 90 and we hit 120 for a bit at one point.

i have a 1991 5spd sedan LX with the f22a1 engine


made it with 556 miles on one tank of gas from cleveland to st louis. gas light been on for 70 miles.

and my goal is to hit atleast 600 miles on one tank on my car. using a hydrogen setup.

alos gas brand plays a major difference, I used Shell with no ethonal and i drafted behind trucks.


oh btw my average city driving i do every week i do around 450 miles to a tank wich averages around 30-32 mpg

450-500 Miles per tank depending on how hard I drive it. Right Now im at 425 with a quarter tank left. I drive it like I stole it all day every day and still get between 25-29 miles per gallon.

I just got 452 miles on 13.4 gallons.

Works out to 33.75.

Stock f22a except for a DC header and WS2. I was trying to keep 65-70 mph and did about 70/30 highway/city.


Shoot for 35mpg w/ an f22a6/h23 intake manifold, intake, maybe a delta or bisi mild cam, a tune.

17 Gallon Tank /450=26.47 miles per gallon

how the heck do i get 17 gallons? i have a 16 gallon tank IF i run it completly dry. normally i'm filling up around 14-14.5 gallons.

usually i drive till about 30 miles past the gas light comes on. and then fill up around 13 gallons.


oooo btw when i say average i do somewhere between 430 to 480 to a tank in city driving. depends on my mood and driving habits and who drives my car.

but lately my hours have but cut in half and i'm flat broke. so i have been getting by with 10 bucks a week on gas lol

really? hmm well i acually ran out of gas a block from a gas station once. filled it up and i only got like 15.2 gallons. so i figured 16 gallons.

376 miles on 11.4 gallons. All highway. Best ive had in over 3 years.
