WHY do people think this about Cb7 Owners

Well ive been a Cb7 owner for a while now. ive gone threw the rice stage from having the 4" drop on stockies, honda emblems, powered by honda shoulder pads etc etc etc. Ive matured to having a Jdm H22 swap back in 2000, jdm headlights, nice suspension set, a complete interior overhaul etc etc etc and we do have some very clean cars on this forum IMO. I always hear other people that drive various other cars such as civic, evo's, wrx, s2000's even 5th and 6th gen accords and the list goes on always consider our cars to be so rice. That we have no owners that spend decent money on out CB7's to make them look clean and we are cheap which is kinda getting to me in a way. True we might not own a $30k car but why do Cb7's get the short end of the stick even 5th gens get more respect. Should we as a whole take more pride in rep'n CB7's???? I work in Mobile electronics and I get a fair number of cb7's that i do work on and many do kinda piss me off when i see how they have trashed the interior or tried painting the consoles awful colors and taking the cheap way out, But were not all like that, whats ur input?

We honestly should but what most people think is that the CB chassis is geared towards old people and grocery store runs.

While the 5th gen looks more sporty to some. Thats the main problem i've seen

I've actually had people with very respectetable cars, ex: turbo 350z, turbo type r, and turbo TSX. Tell me they love my CB and Love the 90-93 Accord most of all

Not many people are exposed to the "Cb7 Scene".

Mostly are your average everyday drivers.

yeah it seems like a lot of people want to modify their cars in the cheapest way possible and also whatever way is the least amount of work. i dunno though. later.

i loveeeee hondas in general........but i wouldnt spend $5-10 thousand D's on my accord. not because im cheap its just that i have more important things to put money into like family and a home. Plus my car doesnt need to be the fastest or be the coolest one, as long as my car works, im happy!!! IMO

To Be Honest With You Before I Saw This Website I Kinda Thought The Same Thing.especially Were Im From .when You See A Cb7 Its All Rusted Up Interior Trashed Just Makes Me Sick.but At The Same Time When People See Nice Ones They Will Aknowledge That It Is A Rare And Clean Car.i Get Complements All The Time Its Just Like I Said You Dont See Nice Ones Very Often. But There Are Alot Of Sick Ones On Here.

when i went to honda day alot of people were talkin sh*t here and there like " prob has that slow f22 in there or " but you know what i think they hate, why drive a civic thats more common i like to be unique and thats what the CB7 tuners are unique...im tired of seeing civics with rotas and same lip kits but i dont hate they just need to keep to there own....

The reason people consider these cars to be rice is that most of the owners tend to be ricers at least in my area. Think about it this way: most of the people into these cars were probably given them when they first started driving as a teen and ended up modifying them due to lack of funds to buy their dream cars. Most people end up spending whatever cash they can on mods to make the car look fast rather than be fast. Hence the reason people think these cars are rice.

Anyways it doesn't matter what people think of your car as long as you like it.

haha,cb7 a grocery getter...my last car was a 1992 ford taurus SHO 3L v6 dohc 5spd and it pulled on mucus stains(mustangs) and firechickens, even race a old school civic like a 90 with 1.6 tec doch and roastied him and this sho was a old person car soo i laugh.......
