Newbie to the board, but extremely impressed. With the increasing gas prices and being a performance-oriented driver, I had to put my Mustang Cobra away as a daily driver and get my very first 4cyl car. I wanted something that is cool when modified so I searched Craigslist and found this Blue 1991 accord EX. Didn't look like much when I got her...
Even as novice accord guy I noticed the amber corner lights and the aftermarket tailights. The guy wanted $950 for it. He bought it cheap to sell higher, but ran into too many problems. After he replaced the Master cylinder, Starter, Distributor, ignitor, Distibuter cap and rotor, timing belt and water pump, main relay and battery, the car still wouldnt start and stay running. (He didnt tell me about that fact till after I offered and gave him $800). After some troubleshooting, I found that the Fuel Pump was bad and replaced it. Now I have reliable transportation that gets me between 27-35 MPG according to how I drive it. The exhaust was rusted out so I installed a Tenrai Cat-Back system. It makes me want to hold gears a lot longer to enjoy thy symphony. Searching the internet for parts, I discovered what CB7 means and found this site. Other than a DYI grill (Thanks to CB7 Tuner) all she has are new badges. I plan on doing some more to her after I learn more on this site. I look forward to access to the classified.
Please enjoy the pictures.
