Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    This thread is for the new members that may want to help out.


    npor, Sam, has been a member of this site for a long time now. He's one of those awesome people that no longer has a CB7, but loves this place so much that he continues to be a regular member. He's definitely one of us. He's family.

    Well, now he's sick. His medical bills are through the roof. Prayers are always welcome, as is wishing him well. However, the biggest help would be to donate even a small amount to help his family cover the medical bills.

    His family has access to his PayPal account, so anything you send will be easily accessible to them.

    Please, I ask you all to give whatever you can. One of our own is fighting for his life. You can hold off on buying that ebay strut bar, JDM bumper pole, or new headunit for just a little while longer.

    We started a fundraiser in his name, because this is going to be a very costly hospital visit. He gave me the password to his paypal to take all of the money out of it, told us to sell his truck, get rid of everything just to be able to pay for it. Of course, we're going to do nothing of the sort, this will get paid for. One way or another. The silent auction is going to be tomorrow night, and there are flyers around town about it. If I can, I'll post pictures from the silent auction and let you guys know how it went. Sam hasn't been able to do much of anything lately, except for watch tv. He doesn't have the strength to even get out of bed. He hasn't been on these forums since the day he left for the hospital. He's been lying in bed silently watching Dirty Jobs, Myth Busters, and an assortment of other TV shows to pass the time.

    I really don't want to ask this, my family has never asked for money before, and I don't know any of you, but it's not looking good for him right now at all. If you guys have any spare change that you don't necessiarly need, we could really use it to pay for his doctor bills. The last visit was in the range of $500,000, and that was with him only staying about 4-5 nights there. This time, he's taken on double the medicine/platelets, and is going to be there for atleast another 5-6 days. Anything can help, $.50, $1, $5, anything. Thanks for your support, keep your heads up.
