has anyone seen the d-h racing h22. It has a stock bottom end and major head work and in a crx run low 12's or high 11's. What could the possibly do to achieve this. What would this do in a cb7. They have the full head package on their site but I cant find it, but do you think it's work the money.....

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I'm personally not a fan of D-H racing, but it's not any direct reflection of Dave's work... just his professionalism (or lack thereof)
In a CRX, probably stripped completely, a stock H22 would be in the mid 13s easily. With cams, good bolt-ons, and a tune, it would probably get into the 12s. The headwork is probably what got it in the 11s.
Doing any sort of headwork usually requires the engine to be revved higher. You don't want to rev a stock block above the stock redline. It may hold for a while. It may hold for a long time. It may fail in a month. If you stretch a rod or bolt due to increased tensile stress, you'll put a piston right into that fancy new head!

Last I knew on DH-Racing's H22 NA headwork, he was pushing 320 cfm through the head after doing his own portwork. I have no idea on what work he has done to his block, but it seems this is a power-to-weight ratio approach for fast times. Times are not really impressive from a professional all-motor dragster perspective, but on street yes.
Dave does alright work, but I can tell you first-hand, from a customer service perspective you could very well have a long, long turn-around time with a lot of promises/lip-service to go with it. That is the main aspect that turned me off about his business.
