but seriously, I highly doubt anything happens. If anything DOES happen, it would probably be of the nature of finding alien life, or something like that, something that will make our technology useless, not in the destructive sense, but in the sense that we would find something that so surpasses our current technology that anything that we have is useless in comparison.

Been playin a little too much Mass Effect I see? I don't blame you, that game is sweet. But I don't think the world's going to end or explode or anything in 2012. I think the world as we know it will change drastically, though. The world's rich elite have devised a plan to control the entire human race. Watch the Endgame DVD documentary. Its some scary shit.

Idk about 2012, but they say at the growth rate of Earth, by 2030 the world will basicaly reach its maximum. So basicaly food will be too scarse and resources will be depleted. We'll basicaly be trillions of humans in a world of fail,lol. I guess for all this stuff though, you can only say "we'll see!" Anything else is opinion.

Yeah. The first comment was a Mass Effect tie-in. While the second comment was also a tie-in from Mass Effects back story, I sorta actually think something like that will happen. If not then, eventually. I think trying to predict when something will happen gives a fairly large window for failure, while just predicting the event gives you a larger window for success.
