ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Clean professional looking job man! Congrats!

Though I do agree aesthetically it would match a different interior better, like black dash with tan interior. What I like about grey interiors is they look kinda techie, like the inside of a space craft; the wood grain doesn't fit well with the grey IMO. But man, you did an AWESOME job! Looks great!

Real wood would be cool but this was kind of a low budget thing, only cost me $4 CDN for the sheet and $7 for the clear coat.
Oh really!?Damn! can't beat that! And yeah I have worked with some furniture grade Burlwood trim peices before..they sure as hell are not

If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacement anyway.

That looks really good and clean. IMO you should hit up a tan interior with leather seats. Becuase damn, that's really impressive looking. Tan interior and such would blend well I think. OR switch over to a black interior and try out a different kind of paper. But looks really cool!

thanks for the comments, as for the headlights it was a diy blackhouse with angel eyes, better pics at night, sorry its alittle blury,

and as for the lip it was also a diy, heres a better pic when it was white,

i mentioned before in another thread, but the lip was made from stryofoam then bondo'ed, ya i know its gonna crack but it was just a prototype, i will be redoing it in fibreglass and if money promits maybe carbon fibre.

As for the dash trim, one of my buddies suggested i should tint it black so it'll be darker but it'll still hold the woodgrain pattern and may flow better with the dash, so i might try that.
