Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Yeah mine is definately an EX than, it doesn't have the auto belts like the earlier models, it has an airbag but only the driver.
I appreciate the help guys, and same goes for the comments.
I'll probably keep the car and get her fixed back up, and also use it as a learning tool.

I've always been a Honda guy so I'm gonna probably end up with another one, also, I have this thing with keeping the car's engine the exact type that came in it in the top of the line Japanese model.
I'm thinking of an EF with 1st gen B16A swap, and some SiR parts, a Del Sol with a 2nd gen B16A and once again some SiR parts, a DA with a 1st gen B16A (came in the XSi models), and maybe a CR-X with a 1st gen B16A.
I'm very idealistic as you can probably tell, when it comes to Honda's lol
I don't dislike CB7's at all, I love them and nobody else seems to like them much, I love a clean modded CB, which is a rare site. I just really want a HB, I love HB's
and I love Honda for it's engineering, I love the feel and sound of a high revving N/A engine, screw turbo lolLast edited by TougeRunner; 11-05-2006, 05:47 AM.

and yeah, I honestly don't plan to spend anymore money on this car right now, I'm jobless. as soon as I get a job I'm saving my cash towards a new Honda, I'll end up fixing the body and such more than likely, but just not right now. And yeah man, the black fender is on, but not completely bolted in where the side skirt is.
I respect your opinion, I'm just giving mine lol
thanks for not taking it the wrong way.I riced up my old accord (unknowingly) a 4 door lx auto with type r emblems, cut resenator, alteeza's and if I could have gotten my hand on some good stickers they would have been on her too.You are on this forum so Im guess you want to do it right. But it sounds like you are just going to beat her until you save for a new car. Thats no way to treat her (espeacially an EX). Well because you have the parts you may get a pass, I dont care who's name on the stickers I dont like them unless Im getting paid to rock them other than that you are free rolling advertisement. Do you like the paint.

I truely eppreciate and prefer the clean style, tasteful mods and so ...
I wouldn't be on these forums if I didn't love these car's. I've already mentioned my predicament and I guess I'll have to mention it again, I am currently unemployed and have no way at all to fix the body damage of my car. I'm searching for a job, and as soon as I find that job, I'm going to be saving towards my new car and also trying to steadily fix my CB7. It's my first car owned by me, I wouldn't let it go to waste. I love the car, and you NEVER really see them being a coupe and all. Basically I don't plan to keep the car forever, so I will fix the wrongs of it and sell it to the right person, not just anyone.
I hope you can see what I'm getting at here. And I'm not trying to start any nonsense with ya man, I have enough of that on clubcivic.com -_- everybody on here is so much more respectful.
I don't have a problem with my stickers man, I'm just representing some company's I think highly of, I don't need nor wish to be paid by the company's.
And no, my paint is in very poor condition, otherwise I wouldn't have them on there. I'm not stupid ....

The B16'S, well if you look it up, every car I posted up on here, all at some point had B16's. most had the B16 in the highest trim of that car, such as the SiR civic's and XSi Integra. I have this little thing, that ALOT of people won't except. I will only put an engine in my car that was at some point in time put into a car same as mine from the factory. I like to replicate as closely as possible the top of the line model civic's and such that came out in Japan and other countries because I'm so fond of them, the fact that Honda put these high revving sports engines in these regular yet attractive everyday street car's amazes me, they are so decieving, the handling and everything is so great.
Not to mention, I don't aim for straight power, I like to retain the handling characteristics and weight ratio of the car, that's why I would never throw an H22 for instance, into a EF hatch. I aim for overall performance.
I'm all for K-swaps and such, I'd just never do it to my car
much respect.
