ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

When I power wash carpet, I clamp it to a piece of 2x2 and elevate that on a stepladder. If you have a nice sunny day stick it out in the yard facing the sun. If not, set it up in the garage and use a box fan or two to increase air flow over it.

You power was the seats as well? I would think these would take forever to dry. Doesn't the foam absorb water?

Yea, I had the carpet hung with clamps off the ground, no fan on it, the seats dried within 2 days, dunno why the carpet took so long. I pressure washed all of it.

What extra modification are you talking about? The A2 and Z3 both bolt up the same, trannys bolt up the same, externally there are no differences.

I got bored, so I decorated the wife's valve cover. I painted the H symbol and the VTEC then splattered it with some more color.

Picked this up Saturday for $100. Needs a good cleaning and some love, but runs and drives great.

Thanks, me too, this just kinda fell in my lap. It was traded in at work, too old and and needs too much to be retail worthy, so I jumped on it.

That is how I got my Volvo wagon, someone traded it in and I saved it from going to the auction.

Very very nice thread thusfar. Really liked how you made the ‘96-‘97 EX alloys stand out. Also pressure washing the inside is a good idea! If I didn’t keep my CB clean all the time (ocd) I would do that too!

Keep up the good work ! Will keep an eye on your builds. Too bad you are in NC would love to help.

Nice score. Good perk of the dealer tech life. There’s a lot of elbow skin on that arm rest! I also have a few climate control knobs off CB’s so if you need one you can have em. PM me if you do. Not sure if they fit off the top of my head..

Thanks! Hopefully I will be making a build thread sometime this year if all goes to plan. It would be nice to collaborate with some fellow CB lovers.
