ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

finally signed up! my 10th anniversary and story

hey guys new and yet not new to the forum. ive found myself googling many things for my car/cars in the past and have landed on this site many a time but never signed up in fear of the effort of commitment to the site. not maintaining a regular appearance one here, not involving myself in enough threads, not being able to give good enough advice, etc. etc. but a friend of mine, 802cb7 on here, who is a close friend in my personal life just cant seem to stop talking about everyone here. so I figured id give it a shot. so this is my offshoot semi build, get it back to nice thread for my Granada black 10th anniversary sedan. his story, yes that's right im a guy with a guy car, long story short the cb isn't my only passion. I have my one true love, my touge inspired da9, and her sister jasper green db1, so we decided they needed a brother. and so he came to exist. it was last year, I was looking for a winter car for my fiancé and I and since ive started driving ive always owned Honda. theyre cheap, reliable, comfortable, get good mileage, etc etc. things we all know well. a couple of years ago I had a rosewood cb coupe lx 5 speed that I enjoyed though it had way too many problems and, being less mechanically involved in the cb world, was eventually scrapped :.c so I came to the conclusion I wanted another cb. craigslisted away and found a hell of a deal. a 93 10th anniversary sedan with grey interior in Granada black for 200 bucks! I thought it cant run, its gotta need more than air in the tires and a battery. the next day I went to look at the car, and loved it. theres some insightful rust in the quarters but I figured I could look past it since its the winter car. so two days later its mine and started no problem with a spare battery I had. drove me home 100 miles back with no problems. and has up until recently needed no work what so ever. other than maintenance he has the diy black housing headlights yellow wrapped high beams (cant seem to find decent glass stain) red/clear tails, hogged out intake (old vw trick my buddy showed me, makes the car sound nice and helps with flow) a 2 1/2 inch cat back, (by mistake, I was buying parts for my db1 and my cb at the same time and accidentally bought a catback for the wrong car) and a full pre face lift 9091 front end swap. currently ive been working on simply working out the kinks having been 200 dollars it was a somewhat poorly maintained cb and the majority of my effort is going into simply getting it back to decent shape. body work, fixing oil leaks, susp parts, etc. hope you guys will like the directions im going with him and im looking forward to showing all the things I come to do in the future.

        and heres my current cb

I know the rising sun has become a more "rice" related thing but recently someone backed into my car and I had to go to the scrap yard and replace my front facia, I only had enough color match paint to do the bumper and a little left over so I made it work with what I could by doing the rising sun and splattering a little. personally I kinda like it. but if I get flamed on. so be it
