ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

93 Accord Sedan LX F22 Engine

Hey everyone, I have owned this car for a year now but have recently acquired modding/tuning as a new hobby/interest of mine in the recent late summer through early fall months. I kinda just freelanced it a few months after I bought the car, but recently, I'm getting more and more into it. It might not look like much right now but I have big plans for it and I'm still proud of what I have! (Please don't mind the poorly painted kit, rust and other body flaws I'm currently working on getting these done). It has 180xxxmi and is in excellent condition and performs wonderfully, though being an auto since my clutch knee blew out due to an accident. It's damn quick for an auto though! She has never stranded or failed me unless it was my own stupid fault, I have owned 4 cars before this one and my CB7 has by FAR been my most favorite! I will be driving her until she dies, and I have feeling that won't be for a long while. I am ridiculously obsessed with this simple little car!

    The outside:

The inside (don't mind my overly sensitive speedometer, I was parked here):

    The engine:

I have big plans for this little car!

One of them is repainting the entire car, haven't decided what color yet (definitely going to be satin/flat regardless) but lately I've leaning towards greens but I have been debating with freshening up the red and making it satin, as would the green. With greens I would either pick olive drab or a lighter type green (but not neon-y) for the body with bronze and black accents. Still deciding there. I would also like to paint the valve color, still not a clue what I'd paint that yet.

I'd also love to get the kit put back on my car, I took it off because it started looking bad when the all paint began peeling and I also decided that I didn't like mis-matched kits. Here's a pic of when I had it on before I got new wheels as well:

I also want to get aftermarket heads and tails, which I have already picked out, and a second set for rims. There's a ton of interior changes I would like to do, mostly fabric stuff though.

For the engine, I like to keep it pretty low maintenance, so I can't really think of what else I could add performance wise while keeping it minimal maintenance.

Suggestions for appearance and performance would be awesome! Especially DIY's!

Also, quick Q since I can't seem to get a clear answer. With my engine being F22, does that actually make it a VTEC even though it's not plastered all over it like I'm used to seeing VTEC motors? Or am I imaging things?

    Thanks in advance

It was kind of an experiment with my friend and I. She picked it up real cheap somewhere and it was on her 97 Celica for a bit... and oh my that looked hilarious. Put it on my car to see it but I actually kind of like it since it helps fill out the butt end, though I would not mind a slimmer, more low profiled one. It'll stick for now though it's not a big concern for me at the moment.

      Thanks !
