ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

How do you know it doesn't?

Someone who rides around on three rims and one OEM tire isn't going to spend the money to do suspension right. Someone who speeds at 130MPH with miss matched tires couldn't have been smart enough to put quality suspension on. If they were smart they would not have been going 130MPH on public roads in the first place.

I have seen enough budget builds to know what happened, it all boils down to a moron behind the wheel endangering himself and others with incorrect equipment on public roads.

You buddy is lucky to have lived, but it is people like him that hurt the image of the import scene by doing stuff like this.

I still want proof he could get that CB7 up over 120MPH in the first place.

Doubt he was going 130mph. A wreck that like would have rendered the car completely unrecognizable. More like 50-60 I'd estimate, spun and then flipped.

But for god's sake, get a set of matching tires on there before you even drive that fast. OEM tires aren't rated for that speed. Imagine if the left rear blew at that speed....would've been disasterous.

I bet when he got in the accident it damaged the rear rim. So they put the oem one on so it would roll in the driveway easier.

OEM rim has matching damages and scrapes consistent with the accident...

I highly doubt he was doing 130mph. I think he would have been ejected out of the car at that speed or would have been crushed in the car.

But what im trying to figure out is , what was the purpose of bringing the car to that speed and endangering unsuspecting motorists with his wreckless driving? He could have killed someone.3 rims and a alloy wheel? And if this was my car my brother wrecked, i would have finished the job that the car didnt get to.He would be meeting his maker that night.

with basic mods, i could barely get the accord to reach 119mph.

I agree that its the aftermath of bad decision making but you cant just act as if he is guilty of an assumption you came up with.

I knew it was bull shit a week ago when this thread was made. No way in hell he was going 130mph.

Guilty of being an unsafe driver and using unsafe equipment on public roads at unsafe speeds... The law will ticket him for what he is guilty of.

I assume he had cut springs and the OP has plenty of time to correct that assumption and has yet to do so. So in my mind, maybe I assumed correctly.

It fits the MO of a young driver with a cheap build who thinks he drives a race car when really it's an economy car.

I don't assume this one person's actions are viewed very positively by the motorists he possibly endangered.

Dude, thats so fucked. If I look like someone who could kill someone does that mean I should go to prison for being a murderer?

You said prove that the springs weren't cut. I say you should prove that they were.

Has the OP even came back to address or correct anything? Your trying to use things against the driver totally based on assumptions of a matter we know very little about. Just because he is guilty of being unsafe driver does not mean he is guilty of everything associated with being an unsafe driver.

Were the springs cut or heated? More likely than not would be my guess. But thats the difference in me saying "I bet the springs were cut." And you saying "the springs were cut", like you know for sure.

Chances are the guy made idiot choices and that led to the car being wrecked. But you don't know for sure what those choices were as the description is very vague.

Assume = Ass U Me. Or as they say, assuming makes an ass out of you and me.

I know I'm pretty serious over this but with the world how it is today I feel I have to say something when I see "guilty until proven innocent". I'm not saying to give the benefit of the doubt but don't just assume one is guilty without knowing hardly any facts. Like in this instance. Its also called being fair.

/\ that is exactly why I didn't argue with him when I made my first post. I could see where it was gonna lead. The OP also stated that his BROTHER was driving. Not him, and bill keeps saying as if the op was the driver. Which honestly is irking me...

I'm not to excited about it. But I am for constitutional rights and the right to a fair trial. I know this is no where near even close to being important however its the ideas of those who appose those rights that I very strongly dislike. And thats very similar to what is being expressed here directly or indirectly. Saying what was said with the certainty it was said with cannot be rightfully justified.
