ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    New Owner - 1992 EX 4dr

Hi All, I just finally acquired my Dad's 92 Accord after he purchased a '13 CRV. He purchased the car in '98 from a Delta pilot who had kept every scrap of documentation on the car and my Dad continued that, so I have everything from the window sticker to the latest oil change. I'm looking forward to shoring up a few issues and enjoying this car on my daily commute which allows me to keep some miles off of my '03 Cobra.

    Issues:
    - stripped and leaking oil drain plug, planning to just replace the pan
    - A/C blows warm
    - ABS light on, need to research what that could be
    - small trunk leak in heavy rain
    - paint needs compounding and polishing, scuff on front bumper, dent on hood

Spent some time on the interior and did a quick wash on a beautiful GA Saturday.

Used some Meguiars M105 polish on the plastic gear selector bezel, here is a 50/50 shot.

    From the carpet cleaner.

From wiping down all non carpet interior surfaces.

    After

Excuse the finger in the way :hammer:

After a wash and spray wax, not bad for a 21 year old car

I also swapped in led's for the license plate lamps after taking apart the housings and cleaning out all the gunk.

I respect a clean factory car over a poorly thought out modified car any day of the week. I respect a Terminator even more than that, though. Pictures would be much appreciated.

I'm not a big fan of the FR500 wheels. I think the wheels that come on it look awesome enough.

Do you have any power upgrades like a Kenne Bell or Whipple? The former president of JBA Headers lives on my parent's street and one of his son's many Mustangs is a Sonic blue '04 Cobra with a 2.1L Blowzilla. Not incredibly impressive given what some are running but it's one of many in the fleet. I just love these cars.

I like the OEM wheels too, but when I bought this car they were long gone and replaced with chrome Saleen wheels. I got a great deal on the FR500's and they've grown on me.

Just intake and exhaust. I may do the smaller pulley someday, but for now it's fast enough for me.
