ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Sounds great thanks! But what about a spoiler? Any rough estimate of what a junkyard would charge for one? I'll try to find my color if possible, i have Charcoal Granite Metallic "NH531M-3" but worst scenario i'll grab some OEM paint from Automotive Touch Up, was going to go with a blue for the whole thing but I really dig the gray color as well. If you look at the pictures, the roof needs to be sanded, then painted with oem and clear coat. Also thinking of sanding the edges of the shims on the quarter panels and bondo-ing the corners +wet sanding, unless i can find a welder to weld pieces of metal for me. Last but not least the spoiler if i get one. How much paint + clear coat would you say i may need for all that if you had to take a guess? Thanks in advanced man.

Just out of curiosity, what types of CB7 have you guys driven? (year, trim and transmission) and what is the best to drive if you had to rate every single STOCK CB7 in existence.

I think I've owned almost every possible combination.

            91 SE sedan auto f22a6
91 LX (US DX) sedan manual f22a1
            93 SE coupe auto f22a6
91 EX-R sedans (x3) and wagon, auto and manual, f22a6
90 LX (US DX) coupe, manual, f22a1
            91 EX-R coupe, manual, f22a6

Of all those, IMO, the very best was the base model f22a1 with a manual. The autos in these cars are crap. Gutless, jerky and heavy. They really hinder the car's performance and enjoyment.

Any CB with a manual is great to drive. Free revving, wonderful smooth gearbox and good clutch feel. It's like a completely different car from the automatic.

I've ridden in an auto EX, and while it served its purpose, it just didn't seem too fun to drive. Personally, I've never driven one. Mine has a 92 Prelude manual tranny, came that way when I bought it. My friend swapped his auto for an accord manual, and I couldn't get used to the gearing, lol. I'm used to being in 5th gear by about 35mph if driving normally. However, being at about 4k in 5th gear running on the highway gets old, so I do envy those really long stock gears of your all's sometimes.

Also, just wanted to add that my friend's gearbox was WAY smoother than mine. Dunno if it's just how my transmission is made, I have absolutely no grinding when shifting as fast as possible, his was just all buttered up lol.
